Ahangama

Lazing on the Southern coast of Sri Lanka, Ahangama is a peaceful small town made famous by one of the most unique sights in the world – Stilt fishing; a traditional method practised only in this region of the island.

All along the coast you will see fishermen balanced precariously on cross poles waiting for a bite on their fishing lines.
