Day 01: Airport – Colombo

On Arrival at Colombo International airport you will be welcomed by our representative/Chauffer guide/National Guide. Upon completion of arrival formalities leave for your chosen hotel at Colombo.

Day 02 : Colombo - Ratnapura - Sigharaja

After breakfast proceed journey to Ratnapura.

Nestled amongst the South western hills, semi-precious stones have been mined in this region since antiquity with many of the prominent gem dealers in Sri Lanka continue to operate from here.


Day 03 : Sigharaja Rain Forest

A pre dawn start to reach Singharaja with picnic breakfast and lunch.

Day 04 : Sinharaja - Udawalawe

After breakfast proceed journey to Udawalawe National Park.

For Asian Elephants in the wild, then the Udawalawe National Park is the ideal place. Lying on the boundaries of the Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, the Udawalawe National Park is home to large herds of Sri Lanka’s largest land mammal, the majestic Asian Elephant. Sightings of elephants are very common here, so much so that you are likely to be treated to a few chance encounters just driving past the boundaries of the park.


Day 05 : Udawalawe - Madunagala - Udawalawe

After breakfast proceed journey to Madunagala.

Day 06 : Udawalawe - Bundala

After breakfast proceed journey to Bundala.

Bundala National Park is globally important wintering ground for migratory water birds in Sri Lanka. Bundala harbours 197 species of birds, the highest being the Greater Flamingo, Which migrate in large flocks. In 2005 the national park was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, the fourth biosphere reserve in Sri Lanka.


Day 07 : Bundala - Yala

Day 09 : Yala - Ella - Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains National Park

A truly unique natural wonder, Horton Plains National Park is a protected reserve of montane grassland and cloud forest in the central highlands at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 metres (6,900–7,500 ft), located around 28km from Nuwara Eliya in the central hills.

The town of Pinnawala near Kegalle, on the route to Kandy has become a vital stopover for most travellers who flock to visit the famed Elephant Orphanage. Begun in 1972, the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala is a remarkable project created to protect abandoned or orphaned wild elephants who would not otherwise have survived in the wild. Relocated to the present size in 1975, today it has grown to become one of Sri Lanka’s key attractions.


Day 14 : Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy

After breakfast proceed journey to Peradeniya to visit Royal botanical gardens.

The above cost include:

  • Accommodation as above in standard rooms. Alternate hotels / higher category rooms will be provided on unavailability. Cost may change with the alternative hotel and higher category room changes.
  • Meals as mentioned (Breakfast only).
  • Transport in air-conditioned vehicle with an English speaking driver guide.
  • All currently applicable taxes and service charges.

The above cost does not include:

  • International air-fare, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover.
  • Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, etc.
  • Any other meals than those mentioned in the itinerary (all lunches & dinner).
  • Entrance fees or jeep hire charges to any of the sights will be visited.
  • Early check-ins and late check-outs.
  • Any other item/meal not specifically mentioned above as ‘INCLUDED’.
  • Visa fees to Sri Lanka.

General Terms

  • All prices are net and non-commissionable to you.
  • Hotel check in time: 14.00 hours and Hotel check out time: 11.00 hours.
  • ‘No Show’ will not be entitled to any refunds. Where refunds are applicable, it may take up to 06 weeks for payment from the time you made the request.
  • There will be no refunds for sites not visited
  • Acceptance of these ‘Terms and Conditions’ is a requirement of your booking. Submission of a booking is your acknowledgement that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these ‘Terms and Conditions’.

Payment

  • In order to confirm your tour package, a Non-Refundable payment of AUD 250 per person is required immediately at the time of confirming the booking. In case of change of mind or cancelation, this fee will not be refunded to you.
  • The balance payment of the total invoice value will have to be deposited within two weeks.
  • If payments are not made within two weeks, the prices can be revised once again giving the client a new time limit of another 2 weeks.

Tour Cancellation Policy

  • 90 days or more before departure – LOSS OF DEPOSIT!
  • 89 to 64 days before departure - 25% of Tour Cost
  • 63 to 43 days before departure - 50% of Tour Cost
  • 42 to 31 days before departure - 75% of Tour Cost
  • Within 30 days of departure - 100% of Tour Cost
