Day 01: Airport – Negombo

On Arrival at Colombo International airport you will be welcomed by our representative / Chauffer guide / National Guide. Upon completion of arrival formalities leave for your chosen hotel at Negombo. Evening cycling in Negombo city.

The primary resort town on the western coast of Sri Lanka, Negombo is highly sought after for its long stretches of golden, palm fringed beaches and the buzzing, cosmopolitan lifestyle of the town and of course, its close proximity to the airport at Katunayake.



Day 02 : Negombo – Kurunegala – Sigiriya / Habarana

After breakfast cycle to Kurunegala and then to Sigiriya.

The ultimate icon of Sri Lanka’s historic past, the giant rock fortress of Sigiriya arises high above the flat landscape, surrounded by jungle on all sides. A testimony to the inventiveness of the ancient civilizations of the land, the once impenetrable stronghold of King Kassapa, ‘Sihagiri’ or Lion’s Rock as it was called then, is considered to be the 8th wonder of the world today.


Day 03 : Sigiriya / Habarana - Hiriwadunna – Sigiriya / Habarana

After breakfast proceed to Hiriwadunna for a trekking and evening, cycle to Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Day 04 : Sigiriya / Habarana - Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya / Habaranas

After breakfast cycle to Polonnaruwa to explore the ancient prehistoric city and evening cycling in Polonnaruwa town.

The ancient city of Polonnaruwa 216 km northeast of Colombo is a cornerstone of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. One of the most significant kingdoms in Sri Lankan history this medieval capital (11th - 12th Century AD) remains a well-preserved city of ancient stupas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and imposing statues. The ruins of this ancient city stay scattered over an extensive area of woodland and can be explored within a day.


Day 05 : Sigiriya / Habarana - Kandy

After breakfast cycle to Kandy and evening visit Temple of the Tooth.

The cultural epicentre and the hill capital of the island, Kandy is Sri Lanka’s second city and home to the Temple of the Tooth - the country’s most important religious shrine, and the traditional pageant the Esala Perahera. Although modernity and urban sprawl has changed the face of this once quaint hill station, it still carries a regal atmosphere with graceful Kandyan style architecture mingling with colonial buildings set around a tranquil lake surrounded by green hills.


Day 06 : Kandy - Kithulgala - Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Kithulgala and cycling in Kithulgala. Evening trekking tour toKithulgala Rain Forest.

The adventure sports capital of Sri Lanka, Kitulgala – a small village on the Kelani River in the Western hills, offers the thrills of white-water rafting, jungle trekking, bird watching and cave explorations to travellers looking for an action packed holiday. It is also a popular destination for outbound training programmes.


Day 07 : Kandy - Hatton

After breakfast cycle to Hatton. Evening climb the Adam's Peak ( Only the season : December full moon poya day to April full moon poya day )

At the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country, Hatton was a busy hill station during the colonial era and continues to be so. Apart from the tea plantations, the town is best known as a getaway to Adam’s Peak and the Sinharaja rain forest reserve.


Day 08 : Hatton - Ella

Breakfast at the hotel. Evening proceed to Ella.

One of the three most venerated religious sites in Sri Lanka Kataragama is held sacred by Buddhists and Hindus, even Muslims and Christians visit here in hope of divine intervention.


Day 09 : Ella

Situated in the arid South East region of Sri Lanka, Yala National Park is home to the greatest variety of the nation’s wildlife and therefore, its most popular wildlife destination. Declared a Game Reserve in 1938, Yala comprises five blocks covering an area of 151,778 hectares.


Day 11 : Yala

With a picnic breakfast proceed to Yala National Park for a morning safari. Leisure in the evening.

Day 12 : Yala - Galle

The above cost include:

  • Accommodation as above in standard rooms. Alternate hotels / higher category rooms will be provided on unavailability. Cost may change with the alternative hotel and higher category room changes.
  • Meals as mentioned (Breakfast only).
  • Transport in air-conditioned vehicle with an English speaking driver guide.
  • All currently applicable taxes and service charges.

The above cost does not include:

  • International air-fare, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover.
  • Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, etc.
  • Any other meals than those mentioned in the itinerary (all lunches & dinner).
  • Entrance fees or jeep hire charges to any of the sights will be visited.
  • Early check-ins and late check-outs.
  • Any other item/meal not specifically mentioned above as ‘INCLUDED’.
  • Visa fees to Sri Lanka.

General Terms

  • All prices are net and non-commissionable to you.
  • Hotel check in time: 14.00 hours and Hotel check out time: 11.00 hours.
  • ‘No Show’ will not be entitled to any refunds. Where refunds are applicable, it may take up to 06 weeks for payment from the time you made the request.
  • There will be no refunds for sites not visited
  • Acceptance of these ‘Terms and Conditions’ is a requirement of your booking. Submission of a booking is your acknowledgement that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these ‘Terms and Conditions’.

Payment

  • In order to confirm your tour package, a Non-Refundable payment of AUD 250 per person is required immediately at the time of confirming the booking. In case of change of mind or cancelation, this fee will not be refunded to you.
  • The balance payment of the total invoice value will have to be deposited within two weeks.
  • If payments are not made within two weeks, the prices can be revised once again giving the client a new time limit of another 2 weeks.

  • 90 days or more before departure – LOSS OF DEPOSIT!
  • 89 to 64 days before departure - 25% of Tour Cost
  • 63 to 43 days before departure - 50% of Tour Cost
  • 42 to 31 days before departure - 75% of Tour Cost
  • Within 30 days of departure - 100% of Tour Cost
