Day 01: Airport – Negombo

On Arrival at Colombo International airport you will be welcomed by our representative/Chauffer guide/National Guide. Upon completion of arrival formalities leave for your chosen hotel at Negombo.

The primary resort town on the western coast of Sri Lanka, Negombo is highly sought after for its long stretches of golden, palm fringed beaches and the buzzing, cosmopolitan lifestyle of the town and of course, its close proximity to the airport at Katunayake.

Day 02 : Negombo - Pinnawala - Anuradhapura

Early Breakfast. Proceed journey to Anuradhapura. En route visit Pinnawala.

The town of Pinnawala near Kegalle, on the route to Kandy has become a vital stopover for most travellers who flock to visit the famed Elephant Orphanage.

Day 03 : Anuradhapura

Breakfast. Visit the 1st capital of Sri Lanka.

The ancient capital of Anuradhapura reigned supreme for over a millennium as one of the greatest monastic cities of the ancient world famed for Buddhist culture and architectural achievements across Asia and Europe.

Day 04 : Anuradhapura - Mihintale - Anuradhapura

Breakfast. Proceed journey to Mihintale.

Regarded as the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, Mihintale is a historical site of great significance to Sri Lankan Buddhists. According to legend, King Devanampiyatissa who reigned from 307 BC to 267 BC was out hunting in the nearby forest when he encountered Venerable Mahinda Thera - a Buddhist emissary from India.

Day 05 : Anuradhapura - Ritigala - Habarana

Breakfast. Proceed journey to Habarana. En route visit Ritigala buddhist Monastry.

Habarana is large village strategically placed at the centre of cross roads on the primary route to the North and East of Sri Lanka. Being almost of equal distance between Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura and Dambulla (and close to Sigiriya and Ritigala too) it is the ideal base to explore the major sites in the Cultural Triangle – or as a stopover on the journey to Jaffna or Trincomalee.

Day 06 : Habarana - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Habarana

Breakfast. Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the morning.

The ancient city of Polonnaruwa 216 km northeast of Colombo is a cornerstone of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. One of the most significant kingdoms in Sri Lankan history this medieval capital (11th - 12th Century AD) remains a well-preserved city of ancient stupas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and imposing statues.

Day 07 : Habarana - Hiriwadunna - Habarana

Breakfast. An excursion to the trekking village of Hiriwadunna.

Day 08 : Habarana - Somawathiya - Habarana

Breakfast. Proceed journey to Somawathiya.

Day 09 : Habarana - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy

Breakfast. Proceed journey to Kandy via Matale. En route visit Dambulla cave temple & Spice Garden Matale.

The largest and the best preserved cave monastery in the island, Dambulla is a sacred pilgrimage site for followers of Buddhism for no less than 22 centuries. A cave complex comprising five sanctuaries, they were already established as important monasteries as far back as the 3rd century BC.

Day 10 : Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast. Visit Royal Botanical garden in the morning.

Day 11 : Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains - Tissa

Day 12 : Tissa - Yala - Tissa

Proceed for a morning jeep safari at Yala National Park with picnic breakfast.

Situated in the arid South East region of Sri Lanka, Yala National Park is home to the greatest variety of the nation’s wildlife and therefore, its most popular wildlife destination. Declared a Game Reserve in 1938, Yala comprises five blocks covering an area of 151,778 hectares.

Day 13 : Tissa - Hambantota - Tangalle

Breakfast. Visit Mirijjawila dry zone botanical garden in the morning.

Located on one of South’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, the small town of Tangalle remains fairly undeveloped in comparison to the more popular resorts further up west.

Day 14 : Tangalle - Galle - Kosgoda - Colombo

Breakfast. Leave Tangalle for Galle. En route visit Galle fort.

Kosgoda is a quiet coastal town located along the Southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka. If travelling to Kosgoda from Colombo, you may opt for the quicker route on the Southern Highway or the more scenic route along Galle Road.

Day 15 : Colombo - Airport

Breakfast. Proceed on short city tour of Colombo only if time permits.

MEAL/S Gangarama Temple, National Museum,Old Parliament,Bazaar, Town Hall.

General Terms

  • All prices are net and non-commissionable to you.
  • Hotel check in time: 14.00 hours and Hotel check out time: 11.00 hours.
  • ‘No Show’ will not be entitled to any refunds. Where refunds are applicable, it may take up to 06 weeks for payment from the time you made the request.
  • There will be no refunds for sites not visited
  • Acceptance of these ‘Terms and Conditions’ is a requirement of your booking. Submission of a booking is your acknowledgement that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these ‘Terms and Conditions’.


  • In order to confirm your tour package, a Non-Refundable payment of AUD 250 per person is required immediately at the time of confirming the booking. In case of change of mind or cancelation, this fee will not be refunded to you.
  • The balance payment of the total invoice value will have to be deposited within two weeks.
  • If payments are not made within two weeks, the prices can be revised once again giving the client a new time limit of another 2 weeks.

  • 90 days or more before departure – LOSS OF DEPOSIT!
  • 89 to 64 days before departure - 25% of Tour Cost
  • 63 to 43 days before departure - 50% of Tour Cost
  • 42 to 31 days before departure - 75% of Tour Cost
  • Within 30 days of departure - 100% of Tour Cost
